Hourly Pay Rate: $45.20 - $46.00
Location: 207 W. Phillips, Conroe, Texas

Shift Hours: Monday – Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm)
Purpose of this position:
The District Attorney Investigator is responsible for the protection and safety of all District Attorney personnel and property. The Investigator will assist the Assistant District Attorneys in the preparation of their cases for trial. This preparation may include locating and/or interviewing witnesses and/or victims; retrieving evidence from agencies of originating jurisdiction; serving subpoenas; and other tasks as requested by the Assistant District Attorneys. The Investigator will represent the District Attorney’s Office as a liaison between local, state and federal law enforcement. The Investigator may be called upon to conduct specialized investigations based on the need of the office.
Education, Experience and Skill Requirements
- Minimum 5 years Law Enforcement with Financial Crimes Investigative experience
- TCOLE Certification - Master Certificate Preferred
- Certified Fraud Examiner - preferred
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Possess good time management skills
- College Degree - preferred but not required
- Bi-lingual - preferred, but not required
- Prioritize work and complete assigned tasks by deadlines
- Proficient in use of firearm
- Strong knowledge of Spreadsheets, excel, creating graphs, charts, tables, timelines, and power points.
Must have the ability to work in person, not remote.

Primary Job Duties
- Complete requests as made by Assistant District Attorneys.
- Follow chain of custody protocol regarding evidence.
- Available for possible weekend duty and for call-out based on on-call schedule.
- Assist in service of felony and misdemeanor warrants.
- Maintain positive working relationship with all Law Enforcement Agencies.
- Testify in court as expert witness.
- Conducts interviews and obtain written statements.
- Proper service of issued subpoenas.
- locate victims and witnesses.
- Video and audio duplication and editing.
Investigate and build cases involving financial crimes which require extensive document review, analysis of bank records and all available documents to track the flow of funds.
