The Role
We’re seeking experienced food service professionals who bring confidence, efficiency, and a strong sense of ownership to their work. This is not an entry-level role—you’ll be a key part of maintaining high standards, driving sales, and creating an exceptional in-store experience.
What You’ll Do
- Provide elevated, hospitality-driven customer service in a fast-paced NYC setting
- Confidently guide guests through the menu with tailored recommendations
- Drive sales through thoughtful upselling and product knowledge
- Handle high-volume service periods with speed, accuracy, and professionalism
- Maintain exceptional store standards: cleanliness, organization, and product presentation
- Support team operations and lead by example during busy shifts
What We’re Looking For
- Required: 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced café, dessert shop, or restaurant environment
- Proven ability to deliver high-level customer service and build repeat clientele
- Strong sales instincts and comfort with upselling
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stay composed and efficient under pressure in a high-traffic location
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented with a professional attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic Spanish language skills strongly preferred
- Food Handler Certificate (required or willingness to obtain promptly)
