American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health position in the Franklin/Macon County, NC area, requiring prior home health and hospice experience and a valid NC or compact RN license.

Home health setting serving patients in the Franklin/Macon County, NC area

Caseload of approximately 5–6 patients per day
-
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule
-
On-call rotation required every 6–7 weeks for one week, covering nights (5:00 PM – 8:00 AM) and that weekend; no overnight patient visits made from this office

Documents using HCHB (HomeCare HomeBase) EMR
-
13-week contract

Active NC or compact RN license required

Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)

Minimum 2 years of recent home health and hospice nursing experience required

Reliable personal vehicle required for patient home visits

US SSN and DOB required for consideration

One professional reference required

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Nurses are expected to wear navy blue or navy/white scrubs

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered

Provide skilled nursing care to home health patients across the Franklin/Macon County service area
