Sanitation Technician:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Sanitation Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment. This role is essential in ensuring the facility meets cleanliness standards for food handling and storage. MAIN JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean and sanitize floors, equipment, restrooms, breakrooms, and work areas
- Sweep, mop, dust, and remove trash from designated areas on a regular schedule
- Clean spills and ensure proper disposal of waste materials
- Maintain cleanliness of docks, storage areas, offices, and other high-traffic areas
- Refill supplies such as soap, sanitizer, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed
- Follow proper safety protocols when handling cleaning or organizing tasks as needed
- Support team with additional cleaning or organizing tasks as needed
- Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition
- As part of your role, you may be required to perform additional duties or tasks as assigned by your manager or the company. Flexibility and a willingness to take on varied responsibilities are essential expectations for all positions
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous janitorial, sanitation, or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and follow a cleaning schedule
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physical environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE
