The Event Production Coordinator plays a key role in delivering high-quality live event experiences. This position is essential in organizing and preparing university venues for a variety of events, such as performances, meetings, conferences, and special functions. This role collaborates closely with other university departments to ensure all activities align with the institution's mission and objectives. Key responsibilities include actively running sound, lighting, and video projection consoles, but also managing event logistics, cultivating vendor relationships, and overseeing all phases of event execution, from initial planning to post-event review. Strong communication with stakeholders—including faculty, staff, students, and external guests—is crucial for delivering outstanding event experiences. Additionally, this role designs, sets up, and operates staging, lighting, and audio/visual elements while also handling room layouts and inventory for event resources. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects independently.
$45,780.00 to $53,040.00 is the annual starting salary for this role and reflects what Fresno Pacific University reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to compensation, FPU offers a competitive benefits package.
