Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Vendor Managed Inventory Coordinator / Non-CDL Driver to support customer locations by delivering inventory, stocking vending machines and point-of-use (POU) areas, and maintaining accurate inventory levels. This role combines driving responsibilities with warehouse and inventory management duties. A valid driver's license and current DOT Medical Card are required, a CDL is not required.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company pickup truck or cargo van to deliver inventory to customer locations.
- Load, transport, and unload PPE, small hand tools, and other inventory.
- Restock vending machines and Point-of-Use (POU) inventory areas.
- Pick orders for replenishment and prepare materials for delivery.
- Receive incoming shipments and put away inventory.
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and follow VMI procedures.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Keep company vehicles clean, organized, and safe for operation.
- Follow all company safety policies and driving regulations while representing the company professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT Medical Card required.
- Previous inventory, warehouse, stocking, or delivery experience preferred.
- Comfortable using computers or inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
