- Manage inventory levels of sterile supplies and medical instruments, ensuring availability for scheduled procedures while maintaining accurate records.
- Perform endoscope reprocessing according to manufacturer guidelines and infection control standards to ensure safe reuse.
- Apply physiology and anatomy knowledge to identify appropriate handling and sterilization procedures for specialized instruments.
- Maintain detailed documentation of sterilization cycles, instrument tracking, and quality assurance records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Adhere strictly to infection prevention management protocols, including infection control procedures and healthcare infection prevention standards, to minimize risk of cross-contamination.
