Shallowford Wellness Center is an outpatient mental health treatment center located in Atlanta, GA, providing compassionate and evidence-based care to adults and seniors. Our specialized programs include Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHPs) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs), focusing on treating anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders. Our multidisciplinary team of licensed therapists, psychiatrists, and counselors collaborate to deliver personalized care.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our dynamic team. The LMSW will provide therapeutic support and case management services to patients enrolled in our treatment programs. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, facilitating group and individual therapy sessions, developing personalized treatment plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
- Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups.
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and other clinicians to monitor and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
- Offer case management services, including referrals to community resources.
- Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when necessary.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Ensure culturally sensitive and inclusive care that aligns with the diverse backgrounds of our patients.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or any related field from an accredited institution.
- Active license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a behavioral health or mental health setting preferred.
- Experience in PHP, IOP, and OPT settings is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing).
- Strong time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is strongly preferred.
