The Planning Coordinator, under direction, will coordinate sufficient resources (labor and materials) to meet the daily work plans. This will be predominantly scheduled work from the planning team with some breakdown work as needed to address plant priorities. The successful candidate will be developed by shadowing area planners performing complex planning, analysis, record keeping and other management reporting as it relates to the preventive and scheduled corrective maintenance, overhaul, and modifications of all the equipment associated with Crushing, Grinding, Flotation, and Tailings to include providing necessary labor and material resource information.

Provide resourcing support for the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly schedules of preventative maintenance and planned component replacement on all mill Crushing, Grinding, Flotation, and Tailings and associated equipment.

Generate task lists and associated parts lists (APL’s) for model work orders in JDE.

Support and manage the procurement and staging of needed parts, vendor support and any additional tooling/supplies on scheduled repairs in a way that ensures no work is scheduled without the necessary resources (increases the proportion of planned and scheduled work).

Must be able to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and small vehicles in materials movement tasks.

Participate in review and optimization of preventive and scheduled maintenance strategies.

Assists in the organization of all resources required to execute the shutdown plan, including in-house labor, contractors if needed, tech support, rental equipment, specialty tools, consumables, etc.

Works closely with planners to optimize resource requirements in MS Project Gantt charts prior to shut down and work with supervisors on work order resource loading.

Audits JDE work order backlog and supports supervisors to ensure that all work orders are properly closed, and work requests are submitted for plant corrective maintenance items.

Understands and complies with all company policies and procedures.

Coordinate with the RCM group to provide data to planners and supervisors to extend component life while reducing risk for high-cost repairs.

Work with procurement to ensure Total Cost of Ownership is looked at in effort to lower costs and maximize efficiency of equipment.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the success of Robinson Nevada Mining Company and KGHM.

High school graduate and on the job experience a plus.

3 or more years of experience as a process maintenance or operations technician is required.

Previous light equipment operation such as forklifts and telehandlers.

A valid driver’s license.

A technical degree/certificate in maintenance planning or a diploma/trade certificate in a related field.

5 years of combined maintenance and operations experience.

Planning and scheduling mining background.

Review and provide recommendations from standard reports.

Work in a collaborative team environment.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products including MS Projects software.

Proficient in JD Edwards/Oracle or other CMMS systems (SAP, ELLIPSE).

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to read and understand GA drawings, mechanical detailed drawings, P&ID's, technical instructions manuals, parts books.

Ability to work in adverse conditions and manage change/priorities on a daily basis.

Self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Minimal required and a willingness to travel as necessary.

Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, including drug and alcohol testing.

Ability to meet the required physical demands, exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
