Part-Time 10 hours per week
Your Impact
- Lead & Plan Worship: Coordinate all musical aspects of contemporary services. Collaborate weekly with the Pastor and staff to align music with scripture and themes.
- Primary Musician: Serve as the lead pianist/musician supporting the congregation's worship life.
- Direct & Rehearse: Conduct weekly rehearsals with the music team. Empower volunteers to share their gifts.
- Administer & Supervise: Manage music files, copyrights, and the annual budget. Provide supervision for the AV team.
- Recruit & Grow: Actively recruit new volunteer members for the music team.
- Collaborate: Partner with other staff for special combined programs, including Christmas concerts and celebration weekends.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Musical Expertise: Highly skilled instrumentalist with proven success in musical direction and vocal leadership.
- Style Depth: Deep background in contemporary church music styles, with a willingness to try new approaches.
- Leadership Traits: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work positively with volunteers, handle emergencies calmly, and maintain confidentiality.
