As an Auto Broker, you will serve as a key liaison between clients and our dealership, helping customers find the perfect vehicle that meets their needs while providing expert guidance on financing, insurance options, and additional services. Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective clients through outside sales efforts, including community events, networking, and telemarketing to generate leads and expand the customer base
- Conduct detailed analysis of customer needs to recommend suitable vehicles and insurance packages
- Negotiate terms of vehicle sales, financing options, and insurance policies to secure favorable deals for clients
- Manage sales administration tasks such as processing paperwork, updating CRM systems, and maintaining accurate client records
- Provide comprehensive information on property casualty insurance, health insurance, commercial insurance knowledge, and other related products to educate clients effectively
- Assist customers with benefits administration, understanding insurance regulations, HIPAA compliance (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and other legal requirements
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, following up post-sale, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the buying process
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing with a focus on automotive or insurance industries
- Strong negotiation skills to close deals efficiently while maintaining client trust
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued for diverse client interactions
- Solid understanding of insurance products including property casualty, health insurance, commercial insurance, and benefits administration
- Analytical skills to assess customer needs and recommend tailored solutions effectively
- Knowledge of insurance regulation standards and compliance requirements such as HIPAA regulations when applicable
- Ability to manage sales administration tasks accurately while maintaining organized records
- Exceptional customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly and foster long-term relationships
