Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant/Cook to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious breakfast options, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and delivering outstanding customer service to our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase culinary skills while ensuring a warm and inviting breakfast experience.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Set up breakfast stations, including arranging food displays and replenishing supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas by following food safety sanitizing procedures and cleaning protocols
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, toasters, and food processors
- Handle manual tasks such as food portioning, weight handling, and processing cash transactions at the POS (Point of Sale) system
- Provide friendly in-person customer service, greeting guests warmly and addressing any dietary needs or inquiries
- Follow food safety management practices to ensure compliance with health regulations and standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant service, preferably in a hospitality or culinary setting
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling best practices
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on in-person interactions
- Experience with POS systems for processing transactions accurately
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and handling cash transactions
- Familiarity with catering or banquet experience is a plus
- Ability to lift weights safely during food handling and cleaning tasks
- Culinary experience or fine dining background is desirable but not mandatory
- Knowledge of wine pairing or wine knowledge is an advantage for enhancing guest experience
