Schedule:
Full-time, Rotating weekends (Saturdays) is mandatory. Available to work 12 hours shift on Mondays (rotating)
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with medical billing and coding tasks
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Ensure the waiting area is clean and organized
Experience:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with insurance verification is required
