Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Concrete Form Carpenter to join our construction team. This role involves constructing and installing form work for concrete structures on various commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, concrete forming, and related construction skills, with the ability to work efficiently on-site in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Construct, install, and dismantle concrete forms according to project specifications and schematics
- Install rebar and reinforcement materials as required for structural integrity
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively during form construction and finishing tasks
- Digging footers. Grading slabs.
- Assist with concrete pouring operations such as concrete pumping and mixing using concrete mixers
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper equipment handling
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction tools and heavy equipment operation
- Experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and concrete pumping systems
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and formwork materials
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during form assembly or material handling
This role requires physical stamina for demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
