Responsibilities
- Support talent acquisition efforts by assisting with recruiting processes, including sourcing candidates through ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding activities.
- Manage employee records accurately using HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM.
- Assist with employee orientation programs, training & development initiatives, and performance management processes to promote employee growth and engagement.
- Help administer benefits programs, including benefits enrollment, benefits administration, and supporting workers' compensation claims.
- Contribute to compliance efforts by maintaining knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), and affirmative action planning.
- Support employee relations by addressing inquiries professionally, managing conflict resolution processes, and facilitating communication across teams.
- Aid in project management tasks related to HR initiatives such as organization design, succession planning, change management projects, and workforce management strategies.
Experience
- Previous experience in human resources or administrative roles with exposure to human capital management systems like Workday, ADP, Paychex, or UltiPro is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures, and HR sourcing techniques.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and professionally.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently within a fast-paced environment using project management tools.
- Familiarity with HR metrics collection, data entry accuracy, and reporting using platforms such as Salesforce or iCIMS is a plus.
- Experience with training & development programs and employee evaluation processes will be advantageous.
- Administrative experience supporting HR functions such as contracts management, social media management for employer branding, or payroll systems like Paychex or Dayforce is beneficial.
