Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and engaged. This is a BBQ line position, which has its own nuances, not a normal line position. You will be working alongside the servers, and will need to help run food/pack togo orders, keep up with pars, and meet customers’ needs. High volume takeout.
Responsibilities:
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare/plate and serve food to customers
Run food to tables and ensure customer satisfaction, as needed
Able to engage with customers
Communicate effectively
Cook menu items in cooperation with the kitchen staff
Complete waste + inventory reports
Clean up station and put away left over food
Labeling + dating
Restocking/cleaning station thoroughly at the end of each shift
Prioritizing tickets based on order type + keeping track of ticket times/pushing out orders quickly, neatly, and with nice presentation.
Correctly weighing meats, slicing properly, reading tickets etc.

Qualifications:
Friendly and positive attitude
Work clean/organized
Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs
Great communication and listening skills/especially with the FOH
Strong ability to follow direction
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple orders at once
Able to meet all scheduling commitments and be punctual
Cooking experience or Back of the House experience REQUIRED
