A growing employer-based healthcare organization in the Milwaukee area is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant for a newly created Clinical Practice Lead position. This unique opportunity is ideal for a clinically strong PA looking to expand beyond traditional practice while remaining closely connected to patient care. The role combines clinical consultation, nurse mentorship, complex case management, and collaboration with medical and operational leadership, offering the opportunity to make a broader impact on clinical practice and patient outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a clinical escalation resource and mentor for nurses.
- Provide advanced clinical judgment for complex and high-risk patient situations.
- Help develop and refine clinical protocols, workflows, and care standards.
- Support complex cases and travel to employer sites as needed.
- Partner with medical and executive leadership on clinical strategy and program development.
- Support new employer sites and scalable, consistent care delivery.
- Provide clinical insight into biometrics, reporting, and population health trends.
What We're Looking For
- Active Physician Assistant license for Wisconsin in good standing.
- Strong clinical background with critical-care, acute-care, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, or complex-care experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, and supporting nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Excellent clinical judgment and ability to assess risk.
- Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- Comfortable working in a growing, entrepreneurial healthcare environment.
- Willingness to travel to employer sites as needed.
