Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Waterproofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction tasks, including masonry, flooring installation, and concrete forming. As a Waterproofer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that structures are protected from water damage through effective waterproofing techniques. This position requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of construction processes.
Responsibilities
- Apply waterproofing materials to various surfaces to prevent water intrusion.
- Attention to details before applying waterproofing solutions.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and masons, to ensure comprehensive protection of structures.
- Restore and repair existing waterproofing systems as needed.
- Perform tasks related to construction painting and plastering as part of the waterproofing process.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the construction site.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site.
Skills
- Proficiency in caulking, waterproofing materials and other materials elated to waterproofing systems is a plus.
- Climbing and use of scaffolding equipment.
- Familiarity with concrete forming processes and techniques.
- Knowledge of waterproof environments.
- Ability to build effective relationships with team members and clients.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
