Title: Lead Installer for OPL & Vended Equipment

Steiner-Atlantic LLC. (“SAC”) is a wholly owned subsidiary of EVI Industries, Inc., a publicly traded company on the NYSE. Prior to March 2015, SAC was privately held. SAC is based in Miami, FL and has been in business since 1959. SAC is one of three separate operating companies which comprise EVI’s Florida Operations (“FL Ops”). Our combined FL Ops provide world class laundry, boiler, and dry-cleaning solutions in the State of Florida, as well as internationally. We sell and/or lease commercial laundry equipment specializing in washing, drying, finishing, material handling, water heating, power generation, and water reuse applications. We sell related parts and accessories and through our robust network of commercial laundry technicians, we provide our customers installation, maintenance, and repair services. Our markets include hospitality, healthcare, for-profit commercial laundries, government, and vended/laundromats. Our FL Ops currently has approximately 60 employees.
General Summary
Lead Installer will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the installation / Rigging department and become responsible for the departments sucess as a leader, teacher, and trainer as your employment continues with the company.
Duties
- Perform the physical installations of the equipment we provide to our customer base throughout Florida, with a secondary / helper Installer (Full In-House Installation & Rigging Training is provided).
- Working directly with our dispatching department/service manager/project manager to schedule and understand logistics of scheduling installations.
- Manage and report on the installation departmments specialty tools and endure they are properly maintained.
- Maintain the installation supplies and reorder through our preexisting vendor network as our inventory is depleted.
- Maintain and organize installation department.
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services.
- Provide technical information about the products and services that our company provides (With provided in-house training and support).
- Document and update customer records during the installation process.
- Comply with standard OSHA guidelines.
- Attend meetings when required with our sales team to provide a plan for the installation of the equipment.
- Ability to work overtime as needed to support completion of jobs/projects.
Minimum Qualifications-Requirements for the Position
Five(5) years of work experience in the Mechanical / Construction / Installation Industry
- Exceptional mechanical aptitude
- Basic electrical aptitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Capability to work collaboratively with key personnel across multiple departments internally and externally
- Experience working under pressure in a calm and collected manner
- Ability to "think outside the box" to resolve problems that arise in real time
- 25+ With a valid driver’s license and a clean record
- Ability to drive a "Pickup" Truck with a Bumper Pull Trailer (16' & 25')
- Ability to back up a Trailer Safely
- Ability to Lift 75LB
- Must Pass a Drug Test
Preferred Qualifications of Position
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Basic gas/fuel knowledge
- CDL
- Telescopic forklift experience
- Bilingual in Spanish and English

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
