Overview
Kader Models is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Product Development Coordinator to support the planning, development, and production of model products. This role works closely with design, production, and operations teams to help ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet quality standards. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about product development and manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate product development projects from concept through production
- Maintain project schedules, timelines, and development documentation
- Communicate with suppliers, manufacturers, designers, and internal teams regarding project updates
- Track product specifications, prototypes, samples, and production milestones
- Assist with quality control processes and product testing activities
- Prepare reports, presentations, and product-related documentation
- Monitor inventory levels of development materials and coordinate purchasing activities
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts
- Ensure project information is accurately maintained and updated
Requirements
- Previous experience in project coordination, product development, manufacturing support, or operations preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, product development, engineering, hobby products, collectibles, or consumer goods industries
- Familiarity with project management software and production planning systems
- Knowledge of quality assurance and production workflows
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field preferred
- Experience working with international suppliers and manufacturing partners is a plus
