The statistician position for Evaluation, Assessment, & Education Research (EAR) within the BCM School of Medicine will oversee and participate in the collection, analysis, and reporting of statistical and qualitative medical education program evaluation and assessment data to create customized reports for program stakeholders. The Statistician position will apply standard quantitative and qualitative methods in conducting analyses and preparing and presenting reports which contribute to the EAR team's overall mission in program evaluation, learner performance assessment, education research, and accreditation.
This position oversees course and program administration for the School of Medicine Curriculum Office and administratively supports operations to satisfy accreditation standards. This position works with a high level of autonomy and must exercise discretion with high volumes of complex, confidential information. A proven ability to independently manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines, screen and prioritize communications and opportunities from external and internal sources and organize and maintain administrative processes is essential to this position. This role will require the following: Professionalism, exceptional customer service skills, ability to work in a team environment, good oral and written communication skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement (3 days on site / 2 from home) within the Greater Houston, TX area after a training period.
