Hands In Action Occupational Therapy PLLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our growing pediatric practice serving preschool and school-aged children. Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to preschool and school-aged children.
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Address areas including fine motor skills, visual motor integration, handwriting and pre-writing skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, bilateral coordination, executive functioning, school readiness, and activities of daily living.
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and other related service providers to support each child's success across settings.
- Complete session notes, progress reports, and other required documentation in a timely manner.
- Participate in CPSE/CSE meetings as needed.
Qualifications
- Current New York State Occupational Therapy license in good standing.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Pediatric experience is preferred, particularly with preschool and school-aged populations.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Reliable transportation to travel to assigned service locations.
Compensation is competitive and will be discussed during the interview process.
