Duties
- Provide attentive supervision and care across various adult age groups.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote development, learning, and fun while adhering to guidelines.
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, dressing, and hygiene to ensure comfort and safety.
- Support adults with disabilities by adapting activities and environments to meet their unique needs while fostering independence.
- Communicate regularly with management to update them on their progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise.
- Maintain a safe environment by following health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and CPR when necessary.
- Manage behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation and social skills.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly preferred but not required.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable but not required.
- Ability to plan activities suitable for the client.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction and team collaboration.
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to safety and abuse prevention.
- Ability to remain energetic, patient, flexible, and attentive in dynamic caregiving situations.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
