The Counselor, Art Therapist & Therapeutic Musician provides creative arts interventions—using visual art and music—to support expression, comfort, and quality of life for Hospice patients and families. This role assesses needs, plans and delivers individualized and group therapeutic sessions, and adapts creative modalities to address emotional, psychosocial, and end‑of‑life goals. The Counselor documents interventions and patient responses and communicates relevant updates to the hospice interdisciplinary team to support coordinated, person‑centered care.

Position:
Counselor, Music Therapist
Shift:
20 hours per week, Day Shift
Experience:
Two years experience working with the terminally ill, bereavement, or hospice/ palliative care clients and families preferred.
Education:
Bachelors Degree Art/ Music Therapy or related field (i.e. social work/psychology).
Masters preferred
Licensures/Certifications:
1. Registered Music/Art Therapist required if degree in related field
2. Registered Music/Art Therapist preferred if degree in Art/Music
3. Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
