American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in Key West, FL, requiring at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience and active FL or compact RN licensure.

Med/Surg unit (floor) in a hospital setting in Key West, FL

Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

8-week contract duration

Position is for a travel RN role

Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — none may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date

Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg unit experience required

AHCA background check required for FL placements

Valid driver's license required for consideration

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position

Candidates must have housing secured within 50 miles of the facility prior to acceptance, with a confirmed address provided at that time

Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position

RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
