JOB PURPOSE:

The FP&A Analyst supports the organization's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making processes. This role provides financial insights and analyses that drive organizational performance, improve resource allocation, and support long-term strategic objectives.
In addition to core FP&A responsibilities, the position serves as a strategic partner and key contributor to the organization's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program. The role advances an enterprise-wide, forward-looking approach to risk by facilitating strategic risk assessments, translating risk intelligence into actionable insights, monitoring emerging and interconnected risks, and executive decision-making. Through cross-functional collaboration and effective governance reporting, the position supports leadership in strengthening organizational resilience, optimizing risk-informed opportunities, and aligning risk appetite and mitigation strategies with long-term objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Planning & Analysis

Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.

Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses for management.

Develop financial models, business cases, trend analyses, and scenario planning tools.

Analyze revenue, expenses, and key performance indicators to identify opportunities and risks.

Partner with department leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management.

Assist in the preparation of executive leadership and board reporting materials.

Support cash flow forecasting, capital planning, and other strategic financial analyses.
-
Monitor organizational performance against budget and forecast expectations.

Identify and implement improvements to financial reporting and planning processes.
Enterprise Risk Management

Support the administration and maintenance of the organization's Enterprise Risk Management framework.

Coordinate periodic enterprise risk assessments with departmental and executive stakeholders.

Maintain organizational risk registers, mitigation plans, and risk reporting dashboards.

Track key risks and monitor progress against mitigation strategies.

Prepare risk reports and presentations for executive leadership and governance committees.

Assist in identifying emerging strategic, operational, financial, compliance, and technology risks.

Support integration of risk management considerations into planning, budgeting, and decision-making processes.

Promote risk awareness and risk management best practices throughout the organization.

Lead and continuously enhance the enterprise risk management framework, governance processes, and methodologies to align risk management with organizational strategy and objectives.

Facilitate enterprise-wide identification, assessment, and prioritization of strategic risks, including evaluation of key trends, risk interdependencies, and potential impacts to organizational goals.

Partner with executive leadership to establish, communicate, and monitor risk appetite and tolerance levels that support effective strategic decision-making.

Provide executive leadership with actionable risk insights, reporting, and analysis to support informed business and strategic decisions.

Monitor internal and external environments to identify emerging, evolving, and disruptive risks and assess their potential impact on the organization.

Collaborate with business leaders and risk-related functions, including Information Security, Legal, Data Governance, Compliance, and Internal Audit, to develop an integrated view of enterprise risk.

Promote a risk-aware culture by facilitating risk governance activities, education, and engagement that encourage proactive risk-informed decision-making across the organization.

Oversee ongoing maintenance, effectiveness monitoring, and continuous improvement of the ERM program to enhance organizational risk management maturity and capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
Experience
-
3–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, financial analysis, or a related field.

Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and management reporting.

Exposure to enterprise risk management, internal controls, compliance, or governance processes required.
Preferred Qualifications
Education

MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional designation preferred.
Core Competencies and Skills

Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.

Thorough understanding of financial statements and performance metrics.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools such as Power BI.

Knowledge of enterprise risk management and/or internal control, strategic planning concepts and frameworks.

Arbitration Forums is a remote organization. This position is remote and requires reliable high-speed internet access and a dedicated workspace.
While the role is performed remotely, employees may be required to travel for on-site team planning sessions, meetings, company events, or other business needs up to 25% of the time, which may include overnight stays.
