Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Experienced Handyman to join our maintenance team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks across residential, commercial, or industrial facilities. Your expertise will ensure that all building systems and equipment operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your dry wall, flooring, Decks, siding, painting, plumbing, and carpentry in a fast-paced environment where your problem-solving abilities and attention to detail will make a tangible difference every day. Duties
- Repair or replace plumbing fixtures, pipes, and systems to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Carry out carpentry tasks such as installing or repairing doors, cabinetry, and interior fixtures.
- Execute maintenance painting projects to maintain the aesthetic appeal of interior spaces.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various repair tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients or building occupants about repair timelines and solutions.
- Lead small maintenance projects or teams when necessary, demonstrating leadership skills in a hands-on environment.
Skills
- Extensive experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) across diverse building systems.
- Hang and finish dry wall, dry wall repairs
- Building decks and deck repair
- Replacing flooring
- Competence in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Knowledge of residential painting techniques for interior spaces.
- Strong understanding of building interior maintenance practices including facilities maintenance procedures.
