Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans to enhance patients' functional independence at our private clinic and at amazing referral sites (a few select private schools and daycares). Duties
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to evaluate patients’ physical motor, cognitive, academic, sensory, and emotional needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with clinical best practices and patient goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, speech therapists, BCBAs, physicians, educators, and case managers to coordinate care
- Support discharge planning by preparing patients for transition back home or to other care settings
- Provide therapy interventions for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorders, dyslexia, ADHD, anxiety, PMADs, and more.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently
Requirements
- Valid occupational therapy license or certification in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience working with individuals and excellent social skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and evidence-based occupational therapy practices
- Experience working with clients on treatment plan development and implementing occupational therapy programs
- Familiarity with medical documentation standards and electronic health record management systems
- Excellent client communication skills to effectively educate patients and families about therapy goals and progress
- Ability to work collaboratively within interprofessional teams in fast-paced healthcare or educational settings

Pay: $42.00 - $55.00 per hour
