Sirak Woodworking and Design is growing! We have immediate opening for an entry level woodworker to join our team. We are seeking a motivated person for high end custom architectural woodworking / furniture company. Great opportunity for someone who is looking to continue in the trade and grow with an established company. Must be willing to learn to assist cabinet makers and finishers, help with installations, and have a positive attitude. Our ideal candidate would have 2 years of woodworking experience specific to the trade and bring a range of skills such as operating wood working machinery, the ability to read and interpret prints and work well with others. Successful candidates will be competent with most woodworking tools. We create an environment that allows individuals to sharpen their skills, learn new techniques, and excel in their field
Duties
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately construct cabinets and related woodwork components.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install cabinetry using hand tools and power tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and more.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure cabinetry aligns with project plans and schedules.
- Ensure all work complies with safety protocols, building codes, and quality standards throughout the construction process.
- Perform finishing tasks including spray gun finishes, staining, painting, or sealing to achieve a polished look.
Skills
- Extensive experience with cabinetry fabrication and installation in diverse construction projects.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans.
- Strong knowledge of cabinetry techniques including, inset, overlay door hanging, installation of Blum hardware, installation of cabinet inserts a plus
- Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, hammers) and power tools (e.g., saws, drills) safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with cabinet software such as Mozaik, Sketchup, Vcarv to work in collaboration with CNC.
- Excellent communication skills for interpreting technical instructions and collaborating effectively on-site with diverse teams.

Pay: Based on experience
Priority given to those candidates with computer design software skills and previous experience operating CNC machines specifically shop saber brand machines.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
