Duties
- Supervise and mentor Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Medical Assistants, and other clinical support staff.
- Coordinate daily clinic operations to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care.
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching, training, and ongoing education.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CDC, HRSA, and state nursing regulations.
- Oversee medication administration, prescription management, prior authorizations, referrals, and laboratory coordination.
- Review clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor inventory and order medical supplies and vaccines.
- Collaborate with providers and leadership to improve workflow efficiency.
- Respond to patient concerns and resolve clinical issues professionally.
- Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and quality improvement projects.
- Support accreditation readiness and regulatory audits.
- Assist with patient education regarding HIV treatment, medication adherence, chronic disease management, and preventive care.
Experience
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
- Current CPR/BLS Certification.
- Strong knowledge of electronic health records (EHR).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Preferred
- Experience working in HIV, infectious disease, primary care, or community health setting.
- Experience with Ryan White Program requirements.
- Knowledge of HIV treatment guidelines and case management.
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives and clinical compliance.
