Inova Loudoun Hospital is looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Acute Care team. This role is PRN/As Needed requiring at least 2 weekend shifts per month (weekday availability is a plus), and 1 major and 1 minor holiday

Physical Therapist PRN Job Responsibilities:

The Physical Therapist PRN selects evaluations and treatment methods appropriate for the patient's diagnosis, age group, and physical/emotional status while formulating appropriate treatment plans.
Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
Perform re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.
May perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education : Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
Licensure : Physical Therapist license (VA licensure or compact privileges)
Certification : BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree
One year experience working as a Physical Therapist in an acute care setting
