Job Overview
We’re looking for a hardworking person to join our concrete crew.
In this job, you’ll help pour, form, and finish concrete on residential and commercial job sites. You’ll work with a small crew doing driveways, patios, pool decks, and other concrete work.
This is hands-on, physical work. You’ll be outside in all kinds of weather, lifting, bending, and staying on your feet most of the day. If you’re reliable, show up on time, and are willing to learn, we’ll teach you how to do the work the right way.
Duties
- Help set up concrete forms and install rebar before we pour.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment to pour, spread, level, and finish concrete.
- Smooth, trowel, and seal concrete to get a clean, good-looking finish.
- Help build patios, walkways, pool decks, and retaining walls.
- Mix and pump concrete when needed to keep the job moving.
- Do small repairs and touch-up work on finished concrete.
- Follow all safety rules on the job site and use proper protective gear.
Experience
We prefer if you’ve worked on construction sites before, especially doing concrete work.
It helps if you know how to read basic plans or drawings, but we’ll teach you what you need to know. You should be comfortable using power tools and equipment safely. Experience with rebar, setting forms, or masonry work is a plus. This job is physical — you’ll be lifting, bending, and on your feet most of the day, often in all kinds of weather. We’re looking for reliable people who show up on time and are willing to work hard and learn.
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
Experience:
- Concrete finishing: 1 year (Preferred)
