Maintenance Technician -Entry Level
The Maintenance Technician reconfigures mail processing machinery for each new production run. Also conducts scheduled machine maintenance and unscheduled repairs to mail processing machinery.
Maintenance Technician is NOT focused on building maintenance. Instead, the Maintenance Technician is constantly engaged in adjusting and changes to industrial machinery. These adjustments are made to gears, chains, and machine timing.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for machine repairs, installations, and modifications
- Adjust timing cams and other mechanical features on chain-driven equipment to prepare mail processing machines for production and to provide maintenance in support of production throughout the shift.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of Machinery Repair experience
- Always remain safety conscious and employ safe work practices.
- Be able to diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a fast-paced environment to minimize machine downtime.
- Initiate maintenance actions.
- Work with minimal supervision individually and as part of a team
- Be eager to learn and to accept responsibility.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Be able to work in excess of 8 hours per day when required, and to work on weekends when required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
