We are presently hiring for caring Direct Support Professionals (DSP)/Caregiver who will assist and support these vulnerable individuals at their own home across Washoe county. We have several locations you can choose from. To meet your personal schedule, we have several available flexible shifts based on you and your participant’s program. You can also choose to work FT, Part-Time or as needed (PRN) to accommodate your needs.

What’s a day look like in the life of a DSP/Caregiver?
Our DSPs are vital to our success. You are the face of the company because you interact directly with the people we serve. Through your clear communication and direct care, you will help our participants in their daily living, hygiene skills, behavioral intervention and social activities out in the community. The focus is to maintain a clean, safe, stimulating living environment, provide transportation (as needed) and facilitate them becoming active members of their communities.
Specifically, you will…

Assist individuals in areas of personal care, home management, meal planning, shopping, and health maintenance.

Provide Positive Behavioral Support in employment and community involvement.

Interact with parents, case managers and the public in a positive, professional manner.

Transport participants at various community locations.
Where and when will you work?
You will work at participant’s home across Washoe County.
Multiple different shifts available and offer flexibility based on your and your chosen individual’s schedule.
Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN (as needed) positions available.
How do you qualify?

At least 18 years of age.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Six months or more relevant experience working with this population preferred.

Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, proof of insurance and reliable transportation to transport individuals as needed.

Willingness to work a flexible, non-traditional schedule.
