Duties
- Engage with community members at events and outreach locations to introduce nonprofit campaigns and initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with supporters by understanding their interests and aligning them with meaningful causes
- Support fundraising efforts by identifying opportunities to increase donations and participation
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth event execution and a positive supporter experience
- Track interactions, donations, and event performance using company systems and reporting tools
- Assist with coordinating event logistics, including setup, breakdown, and on-site operations
- Communicate campaign goals clearly and guide supporters through the donation or sign-up process
- Analyze outreach results to identify trends and opportunities for improving engagement and fundraising performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently interact with the public
- Interest or experience in fundraising, events, customer service, or outreach is a plus
- Ability to explain campaign messaging clearly and handle questions or objections professionally
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, event-based environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail when managing multiple tasks or event responsibilities
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow into leadership roles
What You’ll Be Doing (Day-to-Day Responsibilities)
- Greet and assist customers in a retail store setting
- Present and explain wireless and internet products, including phone plans, devices, and service options
- Support customers with account setup, upgrades, and service changes
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving basic concerns
- Contribute to daily and weekly sales goals through product recommendations and customer interactions
- Learn and assist with store operations, including opening/closing procedures and team support
- Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and inventory
- Participate in ongoing training focused on leadership, product knowledge, and retail operations
- Work closely with store leadership to understand performance goals and business strategies
Compensation & Growth
- Guaranteed pay weekly earnings (average $58,000-$79,000 per year)
- Paid weekly as a W-2 employee
