Job Description:
We are looking for a dependable individual with a Registered Nurse license to support a vaccine and biometric screening clinics. Clinics will include flu vaccinations. In addition to vaccinations, clinics will also be offering biometric screenings. Ideal for a professional with previous experience in vaccine administration and biometric screening.
Responsibilities:
- Administer flu vaccines to eligible individuals following CDC and state guidelines
- Collect blood samples via fingerstick to test for markers of health status
- Monitor for adverse reactions and provide interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate vaccination records and documentation
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols
- Provide a welcoming and professional experience
- Assist with event setup and take down as needed
Requirements:
- Active RN license in state of Connecticut
- BLS certification (required) through American Heart Association
- Experience with vaccine administration preferred
- Experience with biometric screening strongly preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinic
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
- Friendly and professional demeanor
Pay: $45.00 per hour
