Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly.
MMPR Group Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of our Dairy Queen & Dunkin restaurant's physical facility and equipment. This role involves performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and responding to emergency repair needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and general facility maintenance practices in a restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- This person will work on daily restaurant maintenance and projects as assigned.
- This position will also perform general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Perform building, HVAC, equipment, plumbing, electrical, and repairs as necessary.
- Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
- Assist in other equipment repair and maintenance projects as assigned by the Director.
- Create new vendor relationships.
- Determine the cost effectiveness of outsourcing individual job orders.
- Supervise Vendors performance.
- Check and update companies internal work order tracking program.
- Work with Store and Operations management to determine needs of individual stores and/or markets.
- Perform all job activities using industry standard process and safety requirements Qualifications.
- Demonstrated proficiency in HVAC, Ice Machines, Ovens, Cold Tables and small appliances repair knowledge and repair skills.
- Ability to analyze a situation and decide whether it is best to repair or replace the equipment.
- Able to prioritize and use sound judgment and decision-making.
- Able to work well independently, with minimal supervision.
- Ability to follow defined routines and processes.
- Three to five years’ experience in commercial maintenance.
- Most work will be in restaurant.
- Must pass a Background Check.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to work weekends as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $38.00 per hour
