We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Nurse Consultant to support attorneys in medical-legal cases. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to apply your clinical expertise in a legal setting by analyzing medical records, conducting research, coordinating expert witnesses, and supporting litigation strategy and trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze medical records for accuracy, completeness, and case relevance

Identify missing documentation and recommend additional records needed

Develop clear summaries, chronologies, and timelines of medical events

Provide clinical analysis and insights related to case issues and liability

Conduct medical literature research to support case strategies and opinions

Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with qualified medical experts

Prepare expert witness materials, including case summaries and briefing packets
-
Coordinate and obtain medical exhibits for trial, including working with external vendors

Organize, label, and track radiology studies and associated reports

Assist attorneys with case development and trial preparation

Attend physician interviews, depositions, and meetings as needed

Prepare written summaries and key takeaways for attorneys following proceedings

Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (BSN preferred)

Minimum 5 years of clinical experience; diverse clinical background preferred

Nursing home or long-term care experience is a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
