Overview
We currently have a couple of exciting opportunities for teachers who love working with Toddlers and 3 year olds, helping curious little learners grow through play, discovery, and meaningful relationships. If you're passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom while making a lasting impact, we'd love to have you join our faith-centered team.
Opportunities: PM Preschool Teacher (10am-6pm), AM and PM Toddler Teachers (7am-2pm and 2pm - 6pm), 3 year old (7:30am-2:30pm and 2pm-6pm)
Duties
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons that support children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Foster a positive, well-managed classroom that meets the diverse needs of all learners.
- Monitor children's progress and adapt instruction to encourage individual growth.
- Partner with families through regular communication about each child's development and milestones.
- Support children with varying abilities using inclusive teaching practices and early intervention strategies.
- Maintain a safe, healthy classroom and comply with all licensing, health, and safety requirements.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to strengthen teaching skills and best practices.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings.
- Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
- Ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, and team members.
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior positively while fostering an inclusive environment for all learners.
