We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Loader Operator / Plant Laborer to join our team. Previous experience in the ready-mix or construction industry is preferred.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate various equipment including front-end loaders, skip loaders, forklifts, and man lifts
- Receive and inspect raw materials used in concrete production
- Maintain material inventory levels including stone, sand, cement, and other plant materials
- Perform general plant maintenance, housekeeping, and cleanup duties
- Assist with daily plant operations and complete tasks as assigned by management
- Communicate equipment or operational issues to management promptly
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work effectively in all weather conditions
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Previous loader or heavy equipment operating experience required
- Ready-mix or construction industry experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic computer and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to perform physical labor and work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic required
