Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer/Helper to join our team. This position is essential for supporting various projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively with others on-site.
Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with jobs by running tools and equipment to and from sites
- Work in the shop/yard as instructed
- Pick up and drop off supplies from various vendors and job sites
- Haul small equipment
- Must be able to obtain a DOT card
- Other duties as assigned by management
Physical Duties:
- Ability to safely lift over 50 lbs.
- May be required to lift heavy equipment (up to 100lbs) including but not limited to, brake drums, tires, ladders, tool chests, floor jacks when necessary
- Must be able to utilize a ladder and other elevation equipment to access areas that need repairs and maintenance
- Must be able to operate bench grinder, torch, drill press, Jack stands, sawzall, oil pumps, power washer, parts cleaner, and other hand tools required to perform work
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work overtime.
- Must have a valid DOT card or ability to obtain a valid DOT within the first month from date of hire.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are crucial for success in this role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
