CNC Lathe Machinist, Day Shift
Pay: $30.00 – $37.00 per hour
Job Type: Full Time
Shift (Monday through Friday, overtime currently available):
- 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

A Typical Day
As our ideal Lathe Machinist, you will operate CNC lathe equipment on small lot sizes, so there is never a dull moment. You will build machine setups and run first piece inspection, completing a production sheet to verify your setup is good and that the part conforms to the customer's requirements. Once the first piece is approved, you will hand off production to a Level II Machinist and assist them as needed throughout the run.
What We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate has experience running CNC Lathes, building setups, inspecting the parts they machine, and documenting their findings in accordance with company instructions. You must adhere to work instructions and quality standards, notify the Machine Shop Manager, or the Engineering Manager when problems arise, and maintain 6S in your work area.
Required Experience:
- 4 years CNC Lathe Operating
- 4 years Fanuc or Haas control
- 4 years with inspection tools
- 4 years blueprint reading
- 4 years experience building machine setups and verifying first piece conformance
