Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, hallways, and service spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet care to ensure a spotless appearance
- Assist with hotel setup and breakdown for events or special functions, ensuring all areas are prepared to high standards
- Restock supplies such as towels, linens, toiletries, and cleaning materials to support efficient operations
- Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly
- Support housekeeping management by coordinating tasks, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with cleanliness standards
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial settings
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning
- Prior hotel experience or background in hospitality is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of cleaning supplies, equipment operation, and safety procedures
- Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks as needed
