We are hiring at our Ankeny, Iowa location for an Assembler. Responsibilities for this position include operating a portable grinder about 60% of the time, flux core welding, and operating air/power tools. This person will also coordinate with the warehouse to acquire parts as needed. Assemble repaired rendering machinery with new and reworked parts.
Qualifications for this position include:
- High School Diploma required.
- Some flux core (working with .045) welding experience.
- Experience in operating a portable grinder (sizes 4 ½” & 9” grinders).
- Able to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent attendance record with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to work overtime, averaging 8 hours/week, including some Saturdays.
Work hours are 6:00 am - 2:30 pm Monday through Friday. No nights! Apply Today!
