Shift hours:
Mon - Fri; 5:15 pm to 9:00 pm
Duties
- Develop and deliver engaging classroom lessons on medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, HIPAA regulations, and nursing fundamentals aligned with state healthcare regulations.
- Supervise and precept students during clinical rotations across acute care settings such as critical care units, ICU, pediatrics, and hospital environments.
- Evaluate student performance through assessments, practical demonstrations, and feedback to support adult learning principles.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of training activities
- Stay current with healthcare industry trends and regulatory updates to ensure training content remains accurate and relevant.
Qualification
- Prior teaching experience or clinical instruction experience is highly desirable..
- Strong understanding of state healthcare regulations, HIPAA compliance, and health regulation policies.
- Excellent team leadership skills with a track record of precepting or mentoring clinical staff or students.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly while fostering an engaging learning environment.
- Certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is required; additional certifications in nursing leadership are a plus.
- Two or more years of work experience in a nursing home, Long term care, SNF or Hospital is required

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
