Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food preparation efforts and contributing to a smooth operation in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Help with the organization of kitchen supplies and inventory management.
- Support catering and banquet services by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for use.
- Collaborate with sushi chef and other staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.
Skills
- Experience in food preparation or culinary settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of proper food handling techniques to maintain hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Previous experience is a plus but attitude and willingness it key.
