Position Summary
The Associate Therapist provides direct clinical care to a caseload of clients while contributing to the broader clinical team through group facilitation, care coordination support, and collaborative program efforts. This role combines individual client care with team-based responsibilities, and requires consistent engagement in supervision, documentation, and ongoing professional development.
Compensation
This role carries an annualized salary of $72,000. To give new Associate Therapists time to build a full caseload, the position begins on an hourly basis at $34.62/hour — the hourly equivalent of the $72,000 annual salary — during your first weeks on the team. Once your caseload reaches full capacity (approximately 27 clients per week), you will transition to salaried status at $72,000 per year. This transition reflects a change in pay structure, not a raise: your hourly rate is calculated directly from the target salary so your compensation stays consistent throughout the ramp-up period.
Bridging Care also covers the cost of licensure renewal fees for Associate Therapists, supporting your continued path toward full licensure.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an active caseload of approximately 27 clients per week, providing individual therapeutic services.
- Support the broader care team through various efforts, which may include facilitating a therapy or process group.
- Provide support to the care coordinator team as needed to ensure continuity and quality of client care.
- Attend and actively participate in weekly team meetings.
- Meet with clinical supervisor on a weekly basis for individual supervision.
- Complete all clinical documentation (progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, etc.) in a timely manner and in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
- Track and complete required continuing education (CE) hours annually to maintain licensure/certification eligibility.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to support an integrated, client-centered care model.
- Uphold Bridging Care's clinical, ethical, and confidentiality standards in all client interactions.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
- Registered as an Associate (e.g., Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Associate Clinical Social Worker, or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor) with the applicable state licensing board, or license-eligible.
- Working toward licensure hours under qualified supervision.
- Strong clinical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable facilitating group settings and collaborating cross-functionally with care coordination staff.
- Reliable, timely, and detail-oriented with documentation and administrative requirements.
