Overview
Are you a skilled equipment operator who prioritizes safety and precision? Do you love managing inventory, optimizing storage spaces, and keeping a bustling warehouse organized? If so, we want to meet you.
As a Turret Operator, you will be the backbone of our inbound inventory management, optimizing our warehouse storage and safely maneuvering heavy materials. Operating specialized Material Handling Equipment (MHE), you will ensure high accuracy in inventory placement and collaborate closely with the receiving team to keep our dynamic warehouse safe, efficient, and highly organized.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive and accurately put away inbound inventory. Ensure that each item is correctly scanned to a sellable location using your designated scanner, which you will utilize as a primary tool to complete daily tasks.
- Safely and properly place all pallets into their designated storage racks.
- Inspect all incoming freight for any Over, Short, and Damaged (OS&D) issues. Ensure all products meet our stringent quality requirements.
- Utilize MHE, such as a forklift or pallet jack, to complete your daily tasks, which includes working safely at heights of up to 35 feet.
- Proactively troubleshoot problems within the workflow.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the warehouse receiving lead.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of working experience in a warehouse environment is required.
- Must be able to safely lift up to 100 pounds. You must be able to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach throughout your shifts.
- Must be comfortable and qualified to work at a height of up to 40 feet on a forklift.
- Adhere strictly to all safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards.
- Ability to confidently raise issues as they arise within the workflow.
