Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payment Posting & Administrative Support Specialist to join our growing team. This role is responsible for posting patient payments, supporting client financial processes, and assisting with administrative functions to ensure smooth revenue cycle operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, accurate, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
· Post patient payments accurately and timely within billing systems
· Prepare and reconcile client bank deposits
· Retrieve Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) from insurance websites
· Review EOBs and prepare manual payment documentation for the payment posting team
· Prepare courier envelopes for client correspondence
· Mail checks and payments to clients in a timely and secure manner
· Maintain organized records of payments, deposits, and correspondence
· Communicate with internal teams regarding discrepancies or missing information
· Ensure HIPAA compliance when handling patient and financial data
· Assist with month-end closing processes
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· Knowledge of EOBs and insurance payment processes strongly preferred
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
