Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The CBT will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. This role is crucial in promoting positive behavior changes and enhancing the quality of life for our clients through effective behavioral therapy techniques.

Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Provide direct support to clients and promoting independence.
- Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals, ensuring accurate documentation for treatment plans.
- Teach new skills and reinforce positive behaviors through structured activities and interventions.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support the client’s overall development.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical documentation.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral health and management.
Requirements
- Current Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license Required
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) license Preferred
- A valid driver's license with reliable transportation (car)
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and principles.
- Familiarity with special education practices and patient care standards.
- Ability to collect data accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
- Understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
